Throughout his federal career, he delivered hundreds of presentations and briefings in English and Spanish and helped oversee peak 2010 Census field operations involving more than 10,000 employees.
Prior to federal service, Armando held executive leadership positions in the reprographics and construction information management industry, supporting major public and private development projects including Disney California Adventure, the Angel Stadium renovation, the Anaheim Convention Center expansion, and State Route 73 in Orange County. Armando is a Workforce Intelligence Consultant and Principal of Focused Point LLC, with senior leadership experience across federal and private sector environments. Specializing in data-driven labor market analysis, he draws on government-grade sources — including the American Community Survey (ACS), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and Current Population Survey (CPS) — to help law firms, employers, nonprofits, and municipalities understand workforce conditions and build proactive strategies grounded in objective, defensible data.
Navigating federal government data is not straightforward. The American Community Survey, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Current Population Survey each carry their own sample sizes, margins of error, and release schedules — nuances that can render analysis unreliable in the wrong hands. Armando brings 17 years of federal government leadership experience to every engagement, having spent half his career working directly within the systems that produce this data. That insider command of methodology is what separates Focused Point LLC from generalist analysts — and what makes the intelligence we deliver defensible, precise, and actionable.
Focused Point LLC also serves nonprofits and municipalities pursuing federal funding, providing the data infrastructure that grant writers and planners often struggle to source independently. Securing fresh, accurate, and census-aligned demographic and socioeconomic data is one of the most time-consuming challenges in competitive grant proposals and community planning — Focused Point LLC bridges that gap by delivering analysis that is methodologically sound and directly aligned to federal funder requirements.
Focused Point LLC operates at the intersection of workforce intelligence, public funding, municipal planning, housing analysis, and legal support — domains where accurate, timely, and defensible data is the difference between being proactive and being reactive.
Focused Point LLC delivers workforce risk assessments across industries where union organizing activity is most prevalent — including logistics, healthcare, education, and local government — giving organizations the intelligence advantage to respond proactively.
Focused Point LLC partners with nonprofits across health, education, housing, workforce development, and social services to provide the data analytics infrastructure needed to compete for federal funding — bridging the gap that grant writers struggle with most.
